Dear colleagues, ladies and gentlemen, dear friends,

We are honored and pleased to invite you to our traditional Annual Congress of the Croatian Society for Vascular Surgery, CroMA with international participation, which will be held from 23 to 25 October 2025 in Amadria Park Conference Park in Opatija with the participation of vascular surgeons from Croatia and renowned guests from abroad.

Taking into account the development of vascular surgery and vascular medicine, the Congress will be attended by colleagues with whom we work daily in various fields of vascular medicine, and for the benefit of our patients: interventional radiologists, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, neurologists, clinical pharmacologists, phlebologists and nutricionists.

The professional part will cover the most interesting and the most current topics in vascular medicine, surgical and endovascular treatment of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, hybrid procedures in vascular medicine, surgical and endovascular treatment of carotid arteries and peripheral arterial disease, medicamentous and endovascular treatment of venous thrombosis, endovenous vein treatment, and a modern multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of chronic wounds. We are also continuing a new area in vascular medicine – clinical nutrition, which is increasingly prominent in the treatment of various profiles of our patients.

We will devote a special section to the treatment of venous diseases and present new developments in medicinal, endovascular and surgical treatment of venous diseases.

We are also planning a special section dedicated to the problem of access to blood flow in patients with terminal renal insufficiency, modern knowledge and innovations in the treatment of such patients.

Selected topics require a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment and collaboration of vascular surgeons, intervention radiologists, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, neurologists, dermatologists, clinical pharmacologists, general practitioners, and other specializations.

Of course, we continue to award prizes for the best presentations by young scientists to encourage them and encourage their further education in vascular medicine.

Numerous and extremely high quality presentations within the organization of the Congress of the Croatian Society of Medical Nurses and Technicians of Vascular Surgery give special value to our expert meetings. Through its activities, the Society enriches and encourages the further education of all profiles of healthcare professionals in the care of our patients.
